The DATA-MESH SMS telemetry alarm system
Protect remote plant
A low cost telemetry alarm system used to monitor remote plant or equipment. An alarm signal or a simple status information report is relayed to the supervising agent by an SMS (text) message.

The alarm system can be supplied pre-programmed or set up by the client. Free issue software with a laptop connection allows simple and quick installation.
Key features
- GSM modem
- SMS
- Dual Band (900/1800 Mhz, 850/1900Mhz)
- ROHS Compliant
- 6 Inputs (4 logic, 2 analogue)
- RS 232C serial connection
- Real time clock
- Mains or battery operated
Mesh systems
The device may form the centre of a hub to link items of equipment or measuring devises via a ZigBee wireless network. ZigBee is a low-power, short-distance wireless standard that is used in applications from home automation to industrial control. Low cost radio transmitters / receivers are used to relay information to the central hub which in turn is sent to the central management company.
The DATA-MESH GPRS telemetry monitoring system
This GPRS wireless system allows remote plant to be monitored and SMS or voice alarms to be raised in the event of equipment failure. Up to 8 digital and 3 analogue inputs can be monitored at all times. Additionally the devise can be accessed remotely to reconfigure alarm settings and to obtain the current status of the plant.
GPRS telemetry systems allow large volumes of data to be collected and sent by email to a central agency for analysis. The monitoring system can also be employed as the central hub for the collation of operating data from a number of measuring devices connected in a ZigBee wireless network
The addition of a GPS module will allow transportable heavy plant and equipment to be tracked.
The system can be set up using a computer connection or use of a pre-programmed flash drive. The flash card allows on site reconfigurations to be achieved simply and accurately.
